Riverside
Record, edit and publish video podcasts with AI agents
What is Riverside?
Riverside is a recording and editing studio for video podcasts, interviews and webinars. It runs in the browser, with iOS, Android and Mac apps, and records each participant locally on separate audio and video tracks at up to 4K, so a weak internet connection does not degrade the final files. The text-based editor lets you cut video by editing the transcript, and AI tools remove filler words and silences, fix eye contact, generate B-roll, turn long recordings into short clips with Magic Clips, write show notes, and translate and dub into more than 30 languages.
On October 26, 2026 Riverside added Riverside Agents, four AI agents that work inside the app on web and iOS. The Producer preps sessions and helps while you record, the Editor builds an editing plan for a full episode and works through it with you, the Clipper picks moments for social clips, and the Marketer writes captions and show notes and publishes or schedules posts. Riverside says nothing goes out without your sign-off. A Riverside MCP connection also lets assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor search your transcripts, make edits, cut clips and publish to social media.
The free plan includes 2 hours of multi-track recording, 720p video with a watermark, unlimited single-track recording and Magic Clips. Pro costs $29 per month, or $24 per month billed annually, and adds 4K, no watermark, unlimited transcriptions, the AI editing agent and podcast hosting. Grow ($39 per month) adds live streaming, social scheduling, AI thumbnails and the Riverside MCP, Webinar costs $99 per month, and Business is priced on request. AI translation, AI B-roll and animated clips use AI credits, while Magic Clips, Magic Audio and the AI Co-Creator do not.
